The FIRE WARDEN

The Los Angeles County Fire Museum’s newsletter is called the Fire Warden. The name reminds us of the history of the Department with every issue. The LACoFD started out with the Forester and Fire Warden in charge with his crew putting out fires in our wildlands. Through the years, the Department became more sophisticated and morphed into the multi-divisional world class Fire Department we know today.

Every issue of the newsletter is written by our team at the Museum, as well as active and retired Firefighters. We print and mail a beautiful glossy print magazine for our members.

SHARE YOUR STORY!

The Fire Warden welcomes and accepts articles from Firefighters everywhere. If you have stories and photos you would like to share, please email them to the Fire Warden using the Contact form on the right below the Current Issue. You will be contacted upon your submission.

CONTACT THE FIRE WARDEN TEAM

If you have a question on any article in our Fire Wardens, if you have a story to tell, or maybe some photographs to share, please contact us via this contact form. A Fire Warden Team member will be in touch with you shortly. If you wish to submit photographs, you will be provided more information in the reply.

Thank you, The Fire Warden Team.
